The World Science Fiction Convention (WorldCon) is the longest-running and one of the oldest science fiction fan conventions in fandom. The Nebula Awards are presented at WorldCons.

Traditionally, WorldCon is held at or near Labor Day weekend.

When a WorldCon is not held in North America, a NASFiC will be held in the U.S.

WoldCon, NASFiC and Nebula Awards are all controlled by the Cambridge, Massachusetts-based World Science Fiction Society
