Wing Commander is a 1999 film based on the Wing Commander video game series. The film was directed by Chris Roberts who also created the games. Freddie Prinze, Jr. starred Lt. Christopher Blair, a fighter pilot in the 27th century Terran Confederation. The Confederation is engaged in a war against the Kilrathi, an alien race who has seized a NAVCOM unit with the hyperspace jump coordinates to Earth. With the enemy on their way to Earth, Blair and the starfighter carrier, TCS Tiger Claw must delay the Kilrathi until reinforcements can engage them and save Earth.
