William Beaudine (1892-1970) American director who began his career in the silent era as an assistant to D.W. Griffith and worked with such stars as Mary Pickford. Nicknamed “One-Shot” because of the speed he worked, Beaudine churned out numerous low-budget movies between the 1940s and 1960s, many starring Bela Lugosi, John Carradine or the East Side Kids. These included The Ape Man (1943), Voodoo Man (1944) and The Face of Marble (1946). He ended his career still working in poverty row on such titles as Jesse James Meets Frankenstein’s Daughter (1965) and Billy the Kid vs. Dracula (1965) while also directing episodes of the TV series The Green Hornet (1966-67).

It's usually best to give a very general overview to a story first, then plot details. When including the plot or essential details in your article (which could ruin the pleasure of discovery for some readers), it is important to include the spoiler tag before any give-away material.
