Where the Wild Things Are is a 2008 film based on the Maurice Sendak classic children's novel of the same name. Max Records stars as Max, a young boy who creates his own world, a forest where wild creatures crown him as their ruler. Spike Jonze makes his first feature film without the writing of Charlie Kaufman.
