Village Roadshow Pictures is an Australian film production company and a division of the Australian entertainment company, Village Roadshow. The company began producing Australian films in the 1970s and In 1998 Village Roadshow signed a co-production agreement with Warner Brothers. The company has since had several hit international films, most notably The Matrix and it sequels, Miss Congeniality and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
