Valley of the Dragons is a 1961 scifi movie adventure based on the Jules Verne novel, Career of a Comet.

Synopsis

In 1881, Algeria, Michael Denning, an American soldier and Hector Servadac, a French aristocrat are determined to best each other in a duel over a woman they both claim to adore. Their attempt to kill each other is derailed when a comet swings close to Earth and draws both men to it. The two deduce that the same comet has made previous near collisions and drawn men, and animals with it over the eons. The two must work together to survive against dinosaurs, and warring tribes of cavemen.
