United Confederation of Interstellar Planets

The United Confederation of Interstellar Planets, known more commonly among its membership as UCIP, is a simming organization that was founded in 1994. Since its inception, UCIP has become known for its quality simulations and simming environment, advanced simmer training programs, and general Out of Character (OOC) support structure. It has been recognized by Yahoo! Internet Life as being the best Star Trek RPG on the internet. Yahoo! Internet Life Article.

Since it's creation UCIP has grown substantially and is now home to dozens of simulations of numerous genres including Star Trek and Battlestar Galactica. SIMs in UCIP are grouped together into three simming divisions: United Federation of Planets, which houses all Starfleet and Federation SIMs; the United Confederation Fleet, which houses SIMs that participate in a military alliance formed between the Federation, Klingon Empire, and Romulan Empire; and the Idependent Simming Division, which houses all alternate-genre simulations, as well as those SIMs that wish to role play outside the main universes of the other divisions. There is one additional division within UCIP, known as the Services Division, which is tasked with providing all OOC services for the organization.

The current Commander in Chief of UCIP is Jazza.

United Federation of Planets Division

The largest of UCIP's simming divisions is the United Federation of Planets and is currently headed by Vice Admiral V'res.

The UFP Division is home to seventeen Starfleet simulations, as well as one Romulan simulation, divided among four fleets, that allow players to experience what it is like to be an officer in Starfleet. Each Fleet offers SIMs a unique In Character (IC) simming environment. The current simulations within the UFP Division are as followed:

The UFP Division also offers simmers the opportunity to become involved in the Starfleet Marine Corps (SFMC). Starfleet Marines are found throughout SIMs in the UFP, but can also be found at Headquarters Marine Corps (HQMC), the IC Headquarters for the SFMC.

United Confederation Fleet

The United Confederation Fleet (UCF), under the command of Bandit, is UCIP's second largest division and houses the following simulations:

Independent Simming Division

The newest of UCIP's division, ISD, under the command of GalileoAce, is home to alternate genre simulations, and those SIMs wishing to role play outside the standard universes of the other divisions. It currently hosts one simulation from the Battlestar Galactica genre.

ISD is currently working on bringing in several other existing simulations.

UCIP Services Division, currently overseen by Donald, houses all Out of Character (OOC) departments required to keep UCIP functioning, including:

UCIP Revamp

UCIP is currently undergoing a revamp in an effort to streamline the simming divisions and improve overal role playing and operations within the organization.
