Unas language

From SCIFIPEDIA

Unas Language (Additions, correct pronunciation, usage requested.)

Unas is a fictional language used on the TV series Stargate SG-1.

It is believed to have been created by SG1 series writer/director Peter DeLuise, and it has 70+ terms.

This listing is used in the episodes The First Ones, Enemy Mine, and Beasts of Burden.

The language is based on Latin derivatives.

"Unas" means "first ones"
Ka (pronounced kah) means "no"
English "human" is pronounced "oomahn".

Enemy Mine

Daniel Jackson to Chaka, as introduction: Tomah tonko (pronounced
tah mah tonko)
Daniel to Chaka, preventing challenge to Col. at mining camp,
"Ka creekah."
Chaka to Daniel, explaining need to go unarmed: "Oomahn tah tak."

Human attack seems obvious if they go armed to a meeting, so Chaka asks Daniel to "Kah taka."

With Chaka at fireside:
Ha kah means "Thank you."
Kil nook asks "How long?" for...
"Ma conska naght Daniel gestures hand toward fireside meeting site
in anticipation timimg for the meeting. Sets up new phrase, "as long
as it takes."
Chaka answers with gestures for "now"....later": "Nok" for now, and
"kah knock" for "later."

I will add more later.

 Ha kah!
