Uma Thurman

Uma Thurman (b. April 29, 1970, Boston, Massachusetts) is an Academy Award-nominated American actor. Thurman grew up in Amherst Massachusetts and left school at fifteen to pursue acting in New York City. Thurman is well remembered for her Oscar-nominated role in Quentin Tarantino's Pulp Fiction. Her notable genre roles include The Adventures of Baron Munchausen, Batman & Robin as Poison Ivy, Gattaca, and My Super Ex-Girlfriend.
