Tuvok is a fictional character on the series Star Trek: Voyager portrayed by Tim Russ. Tuvok served as the tactical officer on board the USS Voyager for seven years. He previously served under Captain Hikaru Sulu before leaving Starfleet, disappointed with his interactions with humans. He returned to Vulcan to further study emotional interactions until he underwent the Pon Farr and took a mate, T'Pel. The couple had two children, a son, Sek and a daughter Asil.

Before the USS Voyager was pulled into the Delta Quadrant by The Caretaker, Tuvok was serving as an undercover agent on a Maquis vessel commanded by Chakotay.
