Todd McFarlane (b. March 16, 1961 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada) is a Canadian comic book artist, writer and toy designer well known for having created the character Spawn. McFarlane is also known for his work on the Spider-Man franchise. In addition to his comics work, McFarlane has also worked on action figures and is the creator of Todd McFarlane Entertainment, a film and animation studio.
