Believing Jessi to be dead, Kyle follows Tom Foss' advice and returns home to share with his family all his secrets. The family is stunned but supportive and Kyle hatches a plot to bring down Madacorp just as he did Zyzyx. At Madacorp's open house, he turns himself over to Ballantine offering to give him all the information in his head, though the truth is Jessi has all that information. Stephen sneaks into the server room to hook up the information extraction chair to the mainframe so that Kyle can overload the entire system from the chair.
Stephen is stopped by Emily before he can finish the task and Kyle is brought to see Jessi who is struggling to get all the information out by hand, unable to compartmentalize the vast amount of data. Jessi is taken to the chair where they begin to extract the information while Stephen and Kyle are locked in a room. Kyle manages to connect to Jessi and takes back the information she took from him.
Ballantine has Kyle placed in the chair and he struggles to hold back the information which could damage his brain. Emily allows Jessi to escape and she runs into Nicole who encourages her to help Kyle. Jessi overcomes her fear to connect with Kyle and together they manage to break the glass holding Stephen prisoner. Stephen successfully connects the chair to the mainframe and Kyle and Jessi cause a surge that destroys Madacorp's computers and also causes a city-wide blackout.
Following the incident, Kyle assures Jessi Nicole will help find her a good foster home. Ballantine is ousted as head of Madacorp and replaced by Emily. Brian Taylor informs Jessi that he is her father and that he took the picture of Adam and her counterpart. With Amanda's flight canceled, she and Kyle have the opportunity to say a proper goodbye. Lori and Declan set aside the past and agree to be friends.
