The Wolf Man is a 1941 horror feature directed by George Waggner and written by Curt Siodmak. Lon Chaney Jr. starred as Larry Talbot, who returns to his home after his brothers death to reconcile with his father, Sir John (Claude Rains). A visit to a gypsy camp allows him to meet Jenny Williams (Fay Helm), a village girl attacked by Bela, a gypsy turned werewolf. Larry manages to kill the werewolf but is bitten in the process and explains his situation to his father. John joins the villagers in hunting down the wolf responsible.
