The Visitor (TV series)

The Visitor was a short-lived 1997 Fox network series created by Roland Emmerich and Dean Devlin. The series premiered on September 19, 1997 and aired 12 episodes before being canceled on January 6, 1998.

Premise

John Corbett stars as Adam MacArthur, a man abducted by aliens in the Bermuda Triangle during the 1940s. He manages to escape and returns to Earth to discover it is now 50 years later and he hasn't aged. He also has special abilities including the power of healing. Adam travels the country improving peoples lives using his special powers and his understanding of people and situations. He eventually draws the attention of the US Army who believes he may be a threat. He is also pursued by his alien abductors who want to continue the work they were doing on him.
