The Talons of Weng-Chiang is the closing story of Doctor Who, Season 14. It was first broadcast in Britain as a six episode serial starting on the 26th of February 1977.

Synopsis

The Doctor and Leela arrive in Victorian London and, based on a poster advertising the wonders of magician Li H'sen Chang, decide to attend the theater. But, it quickly becomes apparent that a slew of mysterious disappearances plague the area. Is the magician Chang involved? Why are there giant rats in the sewers? More importantly, what does all this have to do with Chinese god Weng-Chiang?
