The Storm is episode 10 of the first season of Stargate Atlantis. The episode first aired on September 17, 2004. This episode was written by Jill Blotevogel with the teleplay by Martin Gero and directed by Martin Wood.

Plot

An enormous hurricane is closing in on the city and without a shield it is at risk of being destroyed. The city is evacuated but the Genii take the opportunity to take over the city. Sheppard must try to outwit the enemy while McKay attempts to get the shield up and running before the city is destroyed.
