The Satan Pit is an episode from the 2006 season of long running program Doctor Who. It first aired in the UK on June 10, 2006.

Synopsis

Part 2 of 2. The beast is awake and screaming his orders into the malleable minds of the telepathic Ood. Can the Doctor, Rose and the crew of the outpost prevent his escape from his ancient bonds while avoiding an untimely death at the hands of his new legion of servants?

Trivia

This is the second time in the long history of the series that an entity claiming to be Satan has appeared. The first was in 1975's "Pyramids of Mars." In both cases, the being was voiced by actor Gabriel Woolf.
