The Plague of the Zombies is a 1966 British horror film directed by John Gilling and written by Peter Bryan. Produced by Anthony Nelson Keys for Hammer Films, the movie starred André Morell as Sir James Forbes, a professor who is asked by the Cornwall village Doctor, Thompson to help in a mysterious epidemic that has struck the village. Professor Forbes and his daughter Sylvia travel to the town and witness the dead come back to life. Forbes believes black magic is responsible and he may be right. A voodoo master has brought the dead back to life as mindless zombies to serve his purpose.
