The Others is a 2001 horror film written and directed by Chilean director Alejandro Amenábar. Nicole Kidman stars as Grace, the mother of two photosensitive young children in post WWII Jersey. The family lives a highly regimented life, due in part to the children's illness. She hires a group of servants to assist with their care and eventually becomes convinced that their home is haunted.
