The Nightmare Before Christmas is 1993 animated fantasy directed by Henry Selick and adapted by Michael McDowell based on a story by Tim Burton. A 3-D version of the film was released in theatres in 2006. The film was nominated for an Academy Award for its visual effects and won Saturn Awards for its music and Best Fantasy Film.

Synopsis

Halloween King, Jack Skellington, becomes bored with his yearly routine and discovers Christmas Town. He decides to take over Santa's duties, making and delivering toys to children around the world.
