The Gods Themselves is a novel by Isaac Asimov. The story concerns parallel universes with different physical laws that begin to "leak" into each other's space-time continuum. Its best remembered for its facinating depiction of its other dimensional life forms.
The novel gets its title from the quote, "Against stupidity, the gods themselves, contend in vain."
