The Dead of Winter is the seventh anthology in the Thieves' World series. It is edited by Robert Asprin and Lynn Abbey. The Thieves' World universe was created by Asprin in 1978 and is a shared world anthology. The Dead Winter was co-edited by Asprin's wife at the time, Lynn Abbey, who would eventually take over the franchise.
