The Dark Crystal, (1982), was a fantasy movie directed by Jim Henson, Frank Oz and Gary Kurtz (uncredited). It tells the story of a gelfling named Jen, who seeks the shard of the damaged Dark Crystal in the hopes of healing his world. If the crystal can't be healed, the evil Skekses will rule.
