The Adventures of Sinbad is a 1996 syndicated Canadian adventure series based on the legend of Sinbad the Sailor from the Arabian Nights tales. The series was created by Ed Naha filmed in Cape Town, South Africa and southern Ontario. It starred Zen Gesner as Sinbad and George Buza as his elder brother, Doubar. Sinbad and the crew of his ship, Nomad, set sail from Baghdad on an amazing adventure around the world encountering wizards, sea monsters and various other strange and supernatural events.
