The 1983 Annual World’s Best SF, also known as Donald A. Wollheim Presents The 1983 Annual World’s Best SF, was the twelfth volume in The Annual World's Best SF anthology series from DAW Books. It was edited by Donald A. Wollheim with Arthur W. Saha, with a first printing in May of 1983, and it included what Wollheim considered to be the ten finest short stories and novellas from the year 1982. This volume includes a cover painting by Vincent DiFate, and a short introduction from Wollheim on the political activism of the science fiction community.
