The 1981 Annual World’s Best SF, also known as Donald A. Wollheim Presents The 1981 Annual World’s Best SF, was the tenth volume in The Annual World's Best SF anthology series from DAW Books. It was edited by Donald A. Wollheim with Arthur W. Saha, with a first printing in May of 1981, and it included what Wollheim considered to be the ten finest short stories and novellas from the year 1980. This volume includes a cover painting by Michael Mariano, and a short introduction from Wollheim in which he notices a trend in recent science fiction toward terrestrial, rather than alien, settings and concerns.
