Terence Stamp, born in Stepney, London, England, in (1939), is one of those universal veterans. His genre work includes his portrayal of John Soames The Mind of Mr. Soames (1970), Hu-Man (1975), General Zod in Superman (1978) and Superman II (1980), Taskinar in Monster Island (1981), the Devil in The Company of Wolves (1984, uncredited), William Harcourt in Alien Nation (1988), Joe Hartman in Mindbender (1995) and Chancellor Valorum in Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace (1999).
