Hello ,my name is Ricardo Herrera. I am a fan of Ghost Hunters. I really enjoy the show.It interests me because I have been interested in the paranormal for a long time. I have had my own paranormal expereinces, but when I was younger of course.My family and I have lived in a haunted house in the past.I believe it was haunted anyways.When we first bought the house my dad stayed there by himself for the night, he told us he had a rough night.He said he heard noises all night long. He said he was terrified. Being that my dad is an honest person, we believed him.The scariest thing he told us was that after that long night, he said he woke to a strange odor. He got up and looked for the source. He said he walked into the kitchen and was amazed to find that all the gas burners on the stove were turned on, with just gas coming out. Obviously something did not want him there. When we all finally settled into the house, we began to hear strange noises. I think that I probably experienced the most of them. Ususally I was the last person to fall asleep. My brother and I slept in the dining room, and the kitchen of course was nearby. Anyways, I remember every night I would hear the same exact noise every night. I would hear the front door open, slam shut and sound of small footsteps quickly run up the stairs to the attic. After seeing a few episodes of Ghost hunters, I believe this was most likely a residual haunting. But, there was also other noises I would hear. Sometimes in the kitchen I would hear the sound of dishes moving around, and water runnng, like somebody was washing dishes. There was also an old stove in the kitchen. There was A metal handle on one part of it, and every night after everyone had settled in, I would hear this thing start to rattle. It sounded like it would rattle for a few seconds,stop, then rattle again. I would hear this basically till I fell asleep.I am thinking this was most likely poltergeist activity?Also, I recall another strange occurence, one night, my family and I, except for my dad, were sitting around the living room table talking.When suddenly, we heard my dad yelling my mom's name.We all stopped talking and lstened, again we heard the same thing. My father's voice calling for my mom.My mom said "hey, your dad's home early", she went to the window and looked out. Nope, He was'nt home.These are some of my experiences.
