It's a myth that the title for the 1996 Doctor Who made for television movie was "The Enemy Within." It seems to have grown out of a chat that producer Philip Segal had with fans on AOL during the film's pre-production (I was actually in attendance at this one). When pressed for a title to the movie, Segal stated that the name of the film was really simply "Doctor Who," but if fans really wanted a name for the story itself, they could use "The Enemy Within." The film itself never had this title and the BBC never refers to it as such. Both the BBC and fans now tend to use "Doctor Who": The TV Movie" to distinguish it from the series and from the theatrical movies made in the 1960s.
