Steve Johnson (b. 1960) American special effects make-up artist. An assistant on An American Werewolf in London (1981) and other movies in the early 1980s, he has since graduated to creating his own monsters, most notably with the uneven "Howling" series (The Howling (1980), Howling II Stirba Werewolf Bitch (1986), Howling IV The Original Nightmare (1988) and Howling VI The Freaks (1990)).
