Stargate: Horizon

<span class="SFPTagline"> From SCIFIPEDIA </span>

Stargate: Horizon is an online scripted series created by Alex Rubit. The first episode was published on November 4, 2004. The series' scripts are not performed but represent a typical 43 minute episode as it would air on television. However, the scripts do contain more detail to increase readability. Like a television series, Stargate: Horizon is organized into seasons. The first season was completed in May, 2005 and the series is currently in its third season. The scripts are accompanied by 3D graphics and images, designed to enhance the reading experience.

Premise

In the series' first episode, a mysterious alien species known as the Draque destroy half of the Atlantus Outpost, hoping to prevent humans from discovering an Ancient artifact known as The Circle of the Ancients. The artifact is believed to contain information regarding the connections between Ancients and humans.

Colonel John Grant and his team are tasked with finding the Draque and uncover their motives. Grant also hopes to find the artifact. He commands the X-04 prototype, called Valiant a new class of interstellar vessels designed by the International Stargate Command for long term space exploration. The team visits the Aries sector in search of a Stargate able to connect to the Triangulum Galaxy from which the Draques originate. The stargate leads them to an abandoned space station and they encounter a race known as the Vorians to whom they are connected in some way.
