Plot

In an attempt to win the heart of his beloved Victoria (Sienna Miller), a young man, Tristan (Charlie Cox), goes on a quest to find a fallen star. His quest takes him to a mysterious land and he finds the star in the form of a girl, Yvaine (Claire Danes). Also seeking the star are the competitive and fratricidal sons of Lord Stormhold (Peter O'Toole) both living and dead who's sadistic father has sent them on a quest to retrieve a necklace that has knocked the star from its position in the sky in order to win their place on the throne and allow their murdered ghostly brothers to finally move on. Yet another star hunter, an evil witch, Lamia (Michelle Pfeiffer) searches for the star to reclaim her youth and that of her three sisters. Tristan must survive the selfish desires of his rivals as he falls for Yvaine.
