Spinosaurus is a 65 foot long spined lizard that lived in Africa and Egypt. This immense dinosaur is the largest of the theropods and sometimes is still thought to live. In Jurassic Park 3, it killed a T. Rex by snapping its neck. This statment is thought to be true and false by scientists. Some scientists think it was just a fish-eater because of its long jaws, straight teeth and high repositioning of its nostril. If this theory is true then it eats fish, but they have found sauropod bones with its teeth and slash marks in it. The spines on its back (hence the name) can grow to about 11 feet tall. The funny thing about the Spinosaurids and Baryonxidae is that they were once called raptors. This was because of their large thumb claws. Scientists thought the claw was on their feet. As seen in JP3, Spinosaurus can swim very swifty, not like Megalodon because it was born in water. Yes i'm the one who wrote that. To tell everyone the truth i'm only 11. That's not the point. seriously. Anyway, Spinosaurus has competition with Carcharodontosarus every day over food. Carcharodontosaurus is another world's largest theropod. Since before JP3 no one knew about Spnosaurus except for a few who found it and went ot the museum it was in before it was bombed in World War 2. Now its in books and a few movies. This dinosaur is truly amazing, but STILL MIGHT LIVE IN AFRICA!
