Spain, officially the Kingdom of Spain, is a southwestern European country located on the Iberian peninsula with Portugal and Andorra. It is the largest of the three nations. Spain was once a vast empire and had great influence over the language and cultures of several other countries, including Mexico, Argentina, and other South American countries.

Well known Spaniards include actor Carlos Villarías and Penelope Cruz, and directors José Larraz and León Klimovsky.
