Spaced Invaders is a 1990 scifi comedy from writer and director Patrick Read Johnson .

Plot

On the 50th anniversary of the War of the Worlds broadcast, 4ft tall invaders from Mars land on Earth with ill conceived plans to conquer Earth. The broadcast has led them to believe the Martian fleet is attacking. They are mistaken for trick or treaters and must do their best to convince the humans they are quite serious. But as they finally come to the conclusion their plot is useless, they must face off against an evil robot.
