The Sodan cloaking device is a technology on the series Stargate SG-1 developed by the Ancients and used by the Jaffa offshoot, the Sodan. The device is an arm band with a triangular green crystal that when activate, renders the user invisible by shifting them slightly out of phase with their current dimension. The device emits radiation designed to ward off interdimensional creatures that can cross over the dimensional barrier and infest a host animal, transforming it into a mutant deadly beast.
