Snow White: A Tale of Terror is a 1997 horror film from director Michael Cohn. The film exploits the dark threads inside the classic Brothers Grimm fairy tale Snow White, transforming the plot into a sinister and horrifying tale. Sigourney Weaver plays the part of the evil Lady Claudia Hoffman the wife of Lord Friedrich Hoffman (Sam Neill) and step-mother to the lovely Liliana Huffman who inspires her rage and jealousy. The film is set during the time of the Crusades and also highlights the dramatic differences and social conflicts between the wealthy and the poor underclass.
