Shutter is a 2008 horror film directed by Masayuki Ochiai.

Synopsis

A newlywed couple, Ben (Joshua Jackson) and Jane (Rachael Taylor) move to Japan where Ben has been hired as a photographer. While driving to a cabin for some time alone, Jane accidentally swerves to avoid a girl but hits her and crashes into a tree, rendering both occupants unconscious. When they awaken, the girl is nowhere to be found. When they return to Tokyo to begin their new life, Ben discovers ghostly images in his photographs that seem to be the vengeful spirit of the girl.
