Sharif Atkins <span class="SFPTagline"> From SCIFIPEDIA </span> Sharif Atkins (b. January 29, 1975) is an American actor from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He attended Northwestern University where he earned his bachelor's degree in theater. Atkins may be best known for his run on the medical drama ER as Dr. Michael Gallant during the series' eighth season. Following his run on ER he appeared in the short-lived series Hawaii and guest starred on several episodes of the sitcom Eve. In 2005, Atkins appeared in the USA Network series The 4400 as the telepathic baseball player Gary Navarro. External Links
