Scotland is the second largest nation in the United Kingdom and the northernmost country on the island of Great Britain. It is bordered on the south by England. In addition to the mainland, Scotland is also comprised of 790 islands. Its capital is Edinburgh and its largest city, Glasgow.

Scotland is famous for its culture, its landscape, and its tumultuous history with England. Scotland is home to the Loch Ness Monster, the kilt, thousands of soccer fanatics and undoubtedly numerous ghost] stories.

Scotland has given the world Sir Sean Connery, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Iain Glen, Ewan McGregor, and Fiona Cumming.
