(Redirected from Scientific Romance)

Scientific Romance is a British term thought to have been coined in the 1800s and used to describe what today is called “science fiction.” It was primarily applied to the work of Jules Verne and H. G. Wells, although its first use was credited to the 1886 book Scientific Romances by Charles Howard Hinton.

It's usually best to give a very general overview to a story first, then plot details. When including the plot or essential details in your article (which could ruin the pleasure of discovery for some readers), it is important to include the spoiler tag before any give-away material.
