Sarah Bannerman nee Bracknell is a fictional character on the series The Dead Zone portrayed by Nicole de Boer. Sarah grew up with Johnny Smith and the two worked together at the same high school.

They became engaged and were expecting their first child when a car accident resulted in Johnny being in a coma for the next six years. Sarah married to Walt Bannerman and the two were happy together even after Johnny awoke from his coma with psychic gifts. Sarah and Johnny maintained a friendship and Johnny also grew close to her husband, Walt. When Walt died in a church fire Sarah was left to raise their as yet unborn daughter but fortunately she had Johnny's help.
