Sands of Oblivion is a 2007 TV movie directed by David Flores. Morena Baccarin stars as archaeologist Alice Carter, determined to find the buried set of the Cecil B. Demille film The Ten Commandments buried in the Guadalupe Sand Dunes of California after the film was completed in 1923. Hidden beneath the sand among the films props is a legitimate Egyptian artifact. Unaware which prop was responsible for trapping the spirit of an avenging Egyptian god responsible for several deaths during filming, De Mille buried the entire set as a precaution. When Carter and her crew discover the set, the spirit reawkens and the cycle of death and destruction begins again.
