Plot

Sheppard and his team discover a beautiful planet untouched by the Wraith. They try to encourage the inhabitants to welcome people fleeing the Wraith to their planet but they believe their goddess Athar will not allow it. Athar's priestess, Chaya Sar returns with the team to Atlantis and is soon revealed to be an ascended Ancient, banished to the planet for using her ascended powers to protect the people from the Wraith and defying ascended laws of non-interference. The team tries to garner her aid in their battle or the use of her planet as a safe harbor for refugees but Athar is unable to help them further. The only aid she gives them is by secretly activating the long range sensors that enable Atlantis to track approaching Wraith vessels. Chaya is soon drawn back to her planet when she becomes aware of a Wraith attack.
