SG-3 is a Stargate Command field unit on the series Stargate SG-1. The marine unit has changed leadership several times. Team members have included:

Bosco – Bosco first appeared in "Zero Hour" under the command of Colonel Reynolds.

Castleman – Major in the US Marine Corp, Castleman first appeared in "Solitudes" where he was injured trying to rescue O'Neill and Carter.

Lawrence– (Colin Lawrence) – Johnson commanded SG-3 during the Goa'uld invasion of Latona ("The Sentinel")

Johnson (Danny Wattley) – Lieutenant who became infected with a histaminalytic virus after visiting the Land of Light. ("The Broca Divide")

Colonel Makepeace (Steve Makaj) – Team leader and second ranking officer beneath Col. O'Neill, Makepeace first appeared in ("The Broca Divide"). Makepeace was later discovered to be working for the rogue NID and charged and convicted of high treason.

Penhall (Peter DeLuise) – SG-3 member, who appeared in ("Orpheus")

Peterson – Unit member under the command of Colonel Reynolds, Peterson appeared in ("Zero Hour")

Wade – following Makepeace's arrest, Wade took command of SG-3.He was killed attempting to get Weapons-grade naquadah from a Goa'uld occupied planet under the command of General Bauer. ("Chain Reaction")

Warren – originally a member of SG-2 in ("Children of the Gods"), Warren later commanded SG-3. ("Prisoners")
