Categories are the way that we figure out what goes with what on a wiki like SCIFIPEDIA. There are all sorts of cross-links between and among categories, of course, but sometimes you wonder what else might be a near-neighbor of something you already know something about. Not everything in a category is directly linked to everything else in the category but you can browse a category to see what else might be a near relation of something that you've already found satisfying and interesting.
Within the fourteen main, topline categories we've defined as covering the interest areas in SCIFIPEDIA, there are a host of sub-categories. While you might end up spending a lot of time and checking a lot of Articles to find something that interests you as much as something you already love by sticking to the mainline category, once you drill down a level or two and start to look around you should quickly find things very similar to what you know about already. Using categories as a search tool is a good way to focus your browsing effectively.
Formatting
Here are a couple of useful and quick things to learn:
If you simply start some text on a new line following the one you've already been working on, you won't see much difference on the screen once you've posted your Article. However, if you leave a completely empty line between blocks of text, you'll start a new paragraph.
If you want to center some text, put it between these markings:
<center>Centered text.</center>
and you'll get this:
Centered text.

Gillian L. Lawyers aren't always determined to stop things in their tracks, they can help you, too. In fact, some of them will go out of their way to find solutions that accommodate the needs of a technology and a system of operation that's far different from what they're used to dealing with. Here's to one of the good ones.
