Links, links, links. Are you frustrated when you look at an entry and all you see are many, many red links and you know there's nothing there to click through to in order to find out more. Well, so am I.
But, I'm also a realist and I try to remember each day that we're only at the beginning of something here and it's up to all of us to help it grow. You might not know all that much about a specific subject but if you know something, anything, then why not put it into the record. What you say could spark someone else's efforts and cause them to know that they have to add something to what you started – and that's how a wiki grows. No piece too small; no effort too minor. It's all adding to the greater whole that is, always, a group achievement and a group goal. Please do your bit today, and tomorrow, and every day. We'll all be surprised and delighted at how quickly it grows.
Formatting
External links are a little more complicated than internal links. You need to use the double square brackets, of course, and you can just put them around any old URL but most folks won't have a clue why the URLs are there so try these handy ways to make them more useful and usable.
Enclose a full URL with opening double square brackets. Put a space after the URL. Add an identifier or title that explains what the URL is for. End with closing double square brackets. Thus, instead of:
put:
[[http://www.scifi.com/psychicatlarge/readings/ Psychic on SCIFI.COM]]
and what people will see is:
Psychic on SCIFI.COM, highlighted as a link.
When you put a name on something this way, people will understand what you are pointing them too and it will help them decide whether to follow the link or not.

Vanitha F. Somebody has to test all this work to make sure it's doing what it's supposed to do when you come to visit. Say "Thanks" to one of the people who did the due diligence to make sure things go smoothly.
Thought for the day
Another day, another SCIFIPEDIA Article. Same tomorrow – maybe two, though.
