SCI FI Original Movies
April is a month that has a lot cookin'. Of course there's the season premieres of Battlestar Galactica, Doctor Who, and the Sarah Jane Adventures. There's the season finale of Destination Truth. But series aside, what else is there to see on Saturday night on the SCI FI Channel?
Two great concepts that can make for fascinating viewing: history and mystery! Setting the Wayback Machine to the Trojan War era, there's the world premiere of Odysseus: Voyage to the Underworld. Odysseus was a legendary Greek king, and the hero of the epic poem The Odyssey by Homer.
Pairing creatures from the even more distant past (we're talking the Triassic and Cretaceous periods), with a time a little closer to our own, Warbirds pits an all-female WW II bomber crew against some nasty pterodactyls in a battle for the Pacific skies.
Odysseus: Voyage to the Underworld airs on April 12 at 9:00 PM.
World premiere of Warbirds airs on April 19 at 9:00 PM.
