This is SCIFIpedia:Community Portal/Stubs Central. Our intention is to keep track of all articles that have been labeled as stubs and encourage contributors to add material until the articles are fully fledged and can have the stub identification removed.

In each of the fourteen topline categories that are listed at the top of the left-hand column on every page, there is a subcategory for stubs: Anime stubs, Art stubs, and so on. Each time someone creates a new article but doesn't enter in-depth information, we ask that they insert the stub identification and category identification for the category in which the article fits. These subcategories will then list all the articles that could benefit from some expansion. For example, in Anime, an article would end with:

[[Category:Anime]]

and would thus be listed as an Anime stub and categorized as Anime.

If you find an article that is really a stub and isn't labeled, please do so if you're not going to expand the article. The more people we have patrolling SCIFIpedia and catching these issues, the better off we'll all be.

If you're not sure what category a stub should be in, you can simply label it {{stub}} so that it will, at least, be noted as needing expansion.
