I need your help in finding out about a sci fi movie that I saw as a kid back in the 70's and if you are not able to help could you please direct me to perhaps an expert who can. This movie is something that I have wanted to see again and have never been able to track down so any help you can provide would be great. Here is what I remember of the film:

It looked to be foreign, maybe italian, spanish or french not for sure. The story involves a small village under going a UFO flap with landings and robotic aliens scaring the people in the village. I remember a scene where one of the towns folk knock out one of the robots wondering around the village. At the end of the film it seemed the protaginist is locked away in an institue as the UFO's fly across the sky over the asylum.

Because I watched the film as a kid in the seventies the tv I watched it on was black and white so I am not sure it was color but to make a guess I would say it was made in the sixties. I know this is vague information but I really need your help. At the time this movie scared the heck out of me and I would give anything to know what the movie title is and if it is available. Some years back there was a movie with Michael Rennie. The theme of the film had to do with telekinesis. Rennnie and another could kill by stopping others hearts with mental power. The end of the film had both mentally battling, with Rennie losing, I think. The final words were: "Power, power, whos' got the power". Can anyone name that film? Those words have stuck in my mind all these years. Thank you.

Technical Problems Not sure where to go with this, but this site is a real pain to work with. Downloading in general is sluggish, much more so that Wikipedia. More problematic, a page request simply produces a black screen (except for the SciFi.com name and purple backdrop at the top), or a screen in which the URL's do not work or editing is locked. Sometimes, hitting Save page results in being given a Preview instead. Can someone fix this? We can find limited periods of time in which we could contribute a lot, but can't because we have to keep backing out and reclicking on links to get the next requested page to function as commanded. This process can easily take up to 10 minutes, and just to add or change a Category link or correct a minor error! Thanks. JeevesNeedleston 16:37, 11 June 2006 (EDT)
